Introducing the NT Fit.
The NT (Narrow Tapered) fit is the newest addition to our core denim lineup. We take our time developing new silhouettes because we want to make sure that what we create fills a void in the market, and we believe that we've done that with our newest fit. From the knee down, the NT is the skinniest cut that we've ever made; it features a much smaller leg opening than the ST, and the taper begins further down the leg. What this means is that even if you cut off a significant amount of inseam length to hem it short, you won't lose too much taper.
The top block is also significantly different from our ST jean and many other slim jeans on the market. Comfort and range of motion were top of mind for us, as we've learned over time that customers who like a slim profile and a small leg opening often find skinny fit jeans to be tight and restrictive up top. The NT features a higher rise and a roomy crotch and thigh area which makes for a much more comfortable break-in process.
We first previewed the NT fit last December as part of our 15 year denim collection, but this is the first time that we are rolling the silhouette out in core midweight 14.5oz fabrics. They're available now via retail accounts and will be launching on 3sixteen.com this Friday, April 12th at noon EDT.
