This Friday, we launch our first installment of SS22 online. The release is comprised of three shirts and a pair of drawstring pants, all which come in some beautiful linen fabrics that will fare well for the warmer months ahead of us.

The Open Collar Shirt is a style we’ve circled back to year after year, primarily due to its versatility in transitional seasons. While it can be worn by itself on a warmer day, the style of the collar lays well under many different types of jackets on cooler days and during the evenings. This season we’re introducing a long sleeve offering in both olive and black linen, with contrasting vertical striping and mother of pearl buttons. The fabric itself has a slightly textured hand to it with some hints of slub that are visible up close. The slightly boxier silhouette allows you to play with sizing - go true to size for a more traditional shirt and feel free to size up if you want to wear it flowier over a tee or tank top.

The next two pieces feature a black linen fabric that’s on the total opposite end of the spectrum of the lightweight stripe. It clocks in at a hefty 11oz, which is very heavy for linen. The sheer weight is what you’ll notice immediately when picking the garment up; we’ve quite honestly never seen a linen like this one before. The fabric is custom woven for us in India with a loose texture and then given a heavy triple-wash treatment to allow it to flow and drape beautifully. Despite its weight, this is not a hot garment to wear when the temperatures warm up.

We’ve applied that heavy linen to two different styles. Our Camp Shirt makes its return for a third straight season, and is an homage to vintage outdoors wear. Details include slanted pocket flaps, a split side hem, and an open collar with a loop closure. The handfeel of this piece honestly makes it wear like a lightweight jacket; we love how versatile it is. Alongside the Camp Shirt are our Drawstring Pants, which were first introduced in SS21 and have since become a 3sixteen staple. Incorporating the same heavy black linen as the camp shirt, this pant is incredibly simple to style. The elastic waist allows for the pants to be worn comfortably around the house, but instantly become dressier when paired with a button-down shirt. They also feature reinforced pockets and a tapered leg that pairs nicely with all kinds of footwear.

All four styles are now available via our NY and LA flagship stores as well as selected retailers. Look for them to launch on 3sixteen.com this Friday, March 25th at noon EDT.
