This Friday, we're launching the Field Shirt, a new silhouette informed by vintage military service shirts and outdoorsman styles in our personal collections. The shirt features an open collar as well as contrast khadi duck canvas accents on the front pocket, elbow patches and sleeve plackets. We believe the base fabric is where the garment really shines, though. The heavily textured hand-loomed cotton looks rough in photos but is incredibly soft and breathable. The inconsistent weave results in the fabric taking the dye on with lots of highs and lows; this is especially noticeable on the black colorway. This Field Shirt is yet another example of a garment that could not be made anywhere besides India, and we are lucky to work with artisans who can bring an idea like this to life.

The Hand-Loomed Field Shirt launches this Friday, February 25th at noon EST on 3sixteen.com and retails for $240. We'll also have this style available in our NY and LA flagship stores at opening on the same day.
