FW18 Crosscut Flannels.

FW18 Crosscut Flannels.

A man stands in a brightly lit park wearing a blue 3sixteen flannel open over a black tee.

An up close look at the coarse fabric texture of the yellow flannel.

The Crosscut Flannel has been a mainstay in the 3sixteen line since we first introduced it ten years ago. We modeled the angled pocket flaps after vintage western shirts and gave it the crossed back yoke which has now become a bit of a stylistic trademark on many of our tops. For this season, we've employed a heavy Japanese cotton flannel with a beautiful coarse weave that reminds us of our favorite vintage pieces. It almost feels like a light blanket when worn.

Another up close look at the yellow flannel, this time in landscape and a clearer view of the shiny black metal buttons.

The model grasps the placket of the open blue flannel shirt with his right hand, showing two sterling silver rings on his fingers.

The face of the fabric shows off the complex low tension of the weave. Over time, with multiple washes, the plaid will take on a beautiful depth as the fabric stretches and shrinks over and over again. This is a shirt that's made to be worn often.

The FW18 Crosscut Flannel debuts as part of our second delivery of the season, and releases at stores worldwide (including our LA flagship) on Friday, October 19th. Remaining stock will be available via our website on Friday, October 26th.
