This week, we’re launching a pair of mules in collaboration with Noah Thomas and Jian DeLeon, also known as the Muleboyz - the world’s first mule account. Noah and Jian were kind enough to help launch our inaugural run of calf leather mules last spring, and after seeing the shoe’s success over the course of the year we decided to work together on a pair.

The muleboyz for 3sixteen mules are built off our custom last, which many of our customers love for its sleek silhouette. Jian and Noah selected a hairy petrol Italian suede with lots of texture and nap, and paired it with a white Vibram mini-ripple sole below our standard suede-lined cork footbed. The shoes also feature a custom “muleboyz” heel stamp.

While conceptualizing the shoe last fall, we knew that the launch would be just as important as the end product. As such, we will be debuting the muleboyz for 3sixteen mule this Thursday, July 20th at our NY flagship store in Nolita with a special event. It’s a “butts out” party which means that only people wearing mules will be allowed in - so be sure to come by with your favorite pair on. Hennessy has kindly provided some spirits for the event and we are excited to celebrate the launch with you all. Limited stock of our collaboration mules will be on hand at the NY store event, and the remainder will launch on 3sixteen.com on Friday, July 21st at noon EDT.
